Team Secret Part Ways with MATUMBAMAN
Team Secret have announced that Lasse Aukusti "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen is no longer part of their Dota 2 roster. It remains unknown where he will continue his career and who will be his replacement.
MATUMBAMAN is a 26-years-old player from Finland who plays as both carry and solo middle. He has been part of Team Secret since late 2019 and was part of the team’s huge success in 2020, when they managed to win eight events in a row. This year the team emerged victorious in first DPC season and finished the second season at the fourth place. As for the majors, the team placed 4th in Singapore and 16th in Kyiv. Recently they managed to finish 3rd at The International 10, where they lost to Team Spirit in the lower bracket final.
Earlier Team Secret parted ways with their offlaner Ludwig "zai" Wåhlberg, who left the team to join Team Liquid. While Team Secret have not announced their roster for the upcoming season yet, we can expect to hear the news soon since the transfer period closes on November 21st.
